Convertible notes, also called promissory notes, convertible loan agreements, convertibles, or convertible debts, are a form of short-term debt with an interest rate issued by the investor to the startup that is either paid back at the maturity date or converted into equity at the trigger events.
To add/issue a Convertible note you need to follow these steps:
navigate to the 'Transactions' section in the 'Securities' block in the menu on the left and then press the button 'Add transaction'
after a new window is opened, add all the necessary information about your convertible note and issue it
After Convertible is created, you can access it in the list of transactions in the 'transactions' section of the menu.
